The Role

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in small hospitals, often as the sole RN on shift

• Perform triage using the Australian Triage Scale (ATS)

• Manage a broad range of presentations, including trauma, acute medical events, and walk-ins

• Provide care in MPS facilities that may include aged care or subacute beds

• Work closely with GPs, paramedics, and allied health teams

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control standards

Requirements

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration

• Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)

• Minimum 4 years’ nursing experience, including strong ED experience

• Proficient in triage, ALS, venepuncture, and cannulation

• Confident working independently or in small teams

• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills

• Available for 4–12 week regional or remote contracts
